~~I Got An Award For The New Year~~

This morning when I opened up my email I had a notice from two wonderful gals telling me that they had an Award for me. Now....how cool is that??? AND.....what a nice way to start off the New Year! *smile*

Hope EVERYONE had a very Merry Christmas! Ours was a very nice one. We had our son and his family here with us. Our grandson is 2 1/2 yrs old, and this year it's been so fun watching him get excited about everything that has to do with Christmas. *Smile* He just LOVES the lights. He figured out real fast how to open all those gifts too! *Smile*

~~Preview Of What's Coming~~

I told you that we have a "Blog Train" on it's way. Several of the gals from "Design With Renee' Yahoo Group" have put together some fantastic goodies for everyone to snag.

~~WOW Another Award~~

This morning when I got up, I did a few things around the house and then came in to check my email. WOW....what a WONDERFUL surprise I had when I saw a little msg from Joani saying that she was giving me an Award!
WOW.......I just can't believe that I got my second Award ever.
A HUGE "Thank You" goes to Joani for this Award. If I could send it back to you Joani, I would.
I have seen this Award on several Blogs that I visit and never really knew the meaning of it. Lucky for me, Joani put the meaning on her Blog so I'm just going to copy what she wrote.

This award is called the "Proximidade Award" or "Friendship Around the World Award" Originally this award was written in Spanish, but it translates to highlight blogs that are pleasing or special in some way, and also to extend the hand of friendship around the world.

Now....I'm suppose to pass this Award on to some other Blogs/Friends. It says to give to 5 others and this is going to be a hard choice for me as there are some WONDERFUL Blogs out there and gals that have been ever so kind to me. ~~Blue Wonder~~

OK.....so I've been playing around again with a few things and came up with this QP. I started this QP due to a couple of pictures I had of my grandson. Once I got done with it I decided I'd give it to all of you as well. I hope you all can find a use for it.

~~I Got My First Award~~

What a thrill it was this afternoon when I finally got online to check my mail and I had a message saying that I had received an Award! Ooooh my GOSH!!! *huge smile* This soooo made my day!

Thank you TERI soooo much for considering me a "Treasured Friend" and giving me this Award. You'll never know how much this means to me. If I could....I'd give it right back to you, as you have helped me in so many ways these past few weeks. Just know that I honestly appreciate all your help.

I have to admit that I really didn't think many people ever came here to my Blog.

Now....I guess I'm suppose to pass this on to 5 other people.
So.....here it goes......

~~Darker Fringed Frames~~

The past two days have not been so good for me. *sad face* First off yesterday I took a hard fall down on my knees and OUCH I'm in pain! My one knee is so swollen I can hardly walk. And to top it off it stings really bad and I can't touch it.

Last night I sorta thought I might have to go to ER....but then I changed my mind. I'm not really the type that rushes up to ER for anything. I gotta feel like I'm about to die before I do something like that! *Smile*

THEN............................................................

Two weeks ago, my cat "Ginger" came up missing. At first I just thought she missed dinner that night and would come home the next day. BUT as days went on and she still didn't come home....then all sorts of things of course came to mind.

We have a mountain lion that runs around this area and .... well yes I thought maybe she was a snack for the mountain lion.

BUT then my other cat Gypsy came up missing. I let her out Thurs. afternoon and never saw her again. Then 3 more cats came up missing in between these two. Hmmmmmm.....how could all these cats come up missing at the same time. So, I had our son go to the "Pound aka Animal Control" to see if they were there.

Yep....Ginger and Gypsy were there. The others weren't. Maybe they were but it was to late

Of course I paid to get them out. It cost me several hundreds of dollars to get them out.

Also found out that it was the guy that lives up the road from us that trapped them and took them in. He doesn't like cats.

Mad? You bet I am!!! How would they like it if I took their dog to the pound? Their dog always comes down here to visit and poop in my yard, in front of our mailbox etc. But I just put up with it because I LOVE LOVE LOVE animals and would never harm any of them. And going to "Animal Jail" to me just isn't right.

It really makes me upset how people are so rude now days. It use to be you knew your neighbours and you helped each other out etc. Not any more. Instead, they do nasty things to you. How sad this is.
Anyway....two of my beloved fur babies are home and boy are they glad to be here. I'm scared to let them go outside now cuz of fear those nasty rude people will trap them again.

As promised yesterday, here are the rest of those fringed frames. I'll be making more with more color for stitching on them. I'm having lots of fun playing around with that script I did! *Smile*
